Privacy Policy

Overview
leadxster (“leadxster,” “we,” “us”) is a B2B lead-finding tool. This policy explains what information we collect when you use leadxster, why we collect it, which third-party services we share it with in order to run the product, and the choices you have. It applies to the leadxster website and dashboard.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up with email and password, or with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address, and (for OAuth sign-in) the profile picture and identifier your provider shares with us.
Workspace and billing information. Your organization name, plan, credit balance, and — via Stripe — your subscription and billing history. We never see or store your card number; Stripe handles that directly.
Customer lists you upload. If you upload a CSV/XLSX customer list (or, in the future, connect a CRM) to identify existing customers, we store the fields you provide — typically company name, domain, and address — solely to match it against search results.
Search inputs. The target market, keywords, location, and radius you search with, including precise coordinates if you use “use my location.” We only request device location with your browser’s permission.
Lead data. Public business listing information — name, address, phone, website, category, and rating — that we retrieve from Google Maps Platform based on your search. If you use “Enrich Lead,” we also attempt to find a public contact email by fetching the business’s own public website.
Usage and log data. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, request metadata) and an authentication session cookie set by Supabase. We don’t use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the search-and-match pipeline you request, deduplicate leads against your customer list, enrich leads with contact emails on request, operate your account and billing, secure the platform, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded customer data for any purpose other than delivering leadxster to you.
For ambiguous matches between a lead and your customer list, we send the limited set of business names and identifiers being compared to Anthropic’s API to get an assisted match decision. We do not send your full customer list or full lead history for this purpose — only the specific pair being adjudicated.
Third parties we share data with
We rely on the following subprocessors to run leadxster. Each processes only the data needed for its role:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google (Maps Platform, and Google Sign-In) — powers lead search and, if you choose it, Google login.
- LinkedIn — powers LinkedIn login, if you choose it.
- Anthropic — provides AI-assisted matching for ambiguous customer/lead pairs.
- Stripe — processes payments and manages subscriptions.
- Vercel — hosts the application.
We disclose information to these providers only as necessary for them to perform their function, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of leadxster or others.
Data retention
We retain your account, workspace, search, and lead data for as long as your account is active. Export audit logs are kept for billing and compliance purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we’ll delete it within a reasonable period except where we’re required to retain records (for example, billing history) by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
International transfers
leadxster and its subprocessors operate in the United States and other countries. By using leadxster, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your organization’s data is enforced at the database level through row-level security, so one workspace can never read another’s data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
leadxster is a business tool and is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll notify you by email.
